4" to 2 1/2" Reducer

This fits perfectly in our dust collector to convert the 4" opening to 2 1/2". As you know dust collection hose comes in two sizes, 4" and 2 1/2"  Some people set up their shop with 4" and some 2 1/2".  Adaptors and reducers are needed since not all manufactures know which set up you have.  This reducer allows you to use standard 2 1/2" hose and connect to openings of 4".  A good example of this would be our dust collector, which has the standard 4" opening.
