Can I run bigger projects on a benchtop table?  Large projects or stock always come down to support on both sides of the table.  Even full size tables occasionally do not have enough support on either side when you are running something big like 8' moldings.  Improvise a set of rollar stands or stack some wood to make an infeed and outfeed table.  This will give you the support you need and is not permanent.

Will standard accessories fit on these tables?  Yes.

Can I still make raised panel doors on a benchtop router table?  Sure, the main accessories you need are some sort of coping sled and a miter track to support it.  Having a insert that opens up to accept the larger router bits is also key.
