Installing Magnets

Magnets that are purchased seperatly are flush mounted in your table.  The real purpose of the magnets are to provide a firm foundation for the set screw to sit on while it moves up and down to set the insert flush to the table.

With this in mind, installing the magnet into your home made table is easy.

Take the set screws out of the insert, and place it into your router table, take a sharp pencil and mark the center of the holes where the set screws were.  Remove the insert and drill four holes that are the same size as the magnets that you have.  You only want to flush mount them, so do not drill too deep.

Drilling a hole that is slightly tight will insure a good fit for the magnet.  Place a drop of glue into the hole and tap the magnet flush to the top.
