Woodpeckers Variable Pressure Featherboard

Just when you think a featherboard is pretty basic, Woodpecker goes and makes it better!  If you are using a tablesaw or router table, chances are pretty good you can improve your safety and increase the quality of your work with a featherboard.  Featherboards are like having another hand, they hold your stock in place tightly so that the wood goes into the bit without jumping on the bit.  The same goes for the tablesaw.  Instead of having your hand near the blade, the featherboard can keep constant pressure on the stock to the fence so that you get the best possible cut every time.

So what makes it so unique?  The featherboard is basically self adjusting.  With a traditional featherboard you would have to put it in place, tighten the knob, and then adjust it several times to make sure it is doing what you want it to do.  A simple adjustment on the featherboard is all that is needed to adjust the pressure, you do not have to take it out of the router table or the tablesaw to adjust.
