If your thinking about building your own custom router table, this kit will give you all the parts you may need. Some of the parts are hard to find and having them all together will allow you to build your custom creation.  Why be limited to the dimensions of our router table?  Build the size and look you want for your workshop!

Deluxe Insert

• 12" x 9" x 1/4"" thick Aluminum
• cnc milled
• two snap out rings 3 7/8", 2 5/8" 1 1/4 universal template hole (center)

T-track set

• 11 1/2" long countersunk holes
• screws included

So why the two pieces? Well if you order a 24" piece from one of those catalog vendors, you will have to cut the piece in half. When you do that, your insert holes are not going to line up. This track is already cut, and the counter sunk holes are all ready to go for installation.

Mitre Track

This mitre track is perfect for shop projects. It is the track that we use on our router table line.  It is made of aluminum and is very sturdy. It includes the screws for mounting.

FAQ's

Will this fit a "........" router?

• This is by far the most common question. The most important aspect of your router fitting on this insert (which is industry std) is how wide are the handles of the router. Measure the handles on the router, you will want them to sit inside the router insert parallel to the length of the insert. If your handles are less than 12", it will work. I have not seen a router that did not fit.

Will this hold a 3 1/2" Router without sagging?

• This will hold any router since the insert is aluminum.  It is not predrilled. 

How big of a bit opening do I need?

• It all depends on what your doing. If your routing out raised panel doors with big wide 2 1/2" bits, this insert will not work. However you can buy a plain (no hole) insert and drill it out yourself. Most woodworkers use smaller bits, thus requiring a smaller bit opening. Remember, a smaller opening means less flexing. If the majority of your precise routering is with small bits, use a smaller opening. If you think you may need the larger opening in the future, buy the deluxe insert and use it seperatly for that.
